Welcome to Letchworth State Park based in New York, knows as the Grand Canyon of the East! After personally visiting Letchworth many times, I can truly say it is a park that does not lose its glory. Whether you’re visiting in the summer with all the leaves green, in the winter with few leaves if any at all, or the winter where the open rock is blanketed by snow, it always captures its own sense of wonder. Letchworth State Park is located in Western NY and is roughly 20-30 miles long from top to bottom. The river that runs through this canyon is called the Genesee River, which runs from the middle of Pennsylvania all the way to Lake Ontario. If you ever get a chance to visit, make sure to stop by. It would not matter the time of year you go!
